Review: Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish

I was very kindly invited by the lovely Dawn, PR Co-ordinator at John Lewis Sheffield, to learn more about Liz Earle's range of skin care + make-up. Whilst we got to try out a number of their beautiful products, the event showcased their multi-award winning Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser - see my honest opinion below!

The Demonstration

The wonderful Jayne from Liz Earle talked us through the perfect skin care routine to achieve beautiful, glowing skin, which included finishing off with some natural-looking and easy to apply make-up. The lovely Billie of www.billiegeena.co.uk was our model for the morning, and her skin looked absolutely radiant after her facial.

After seeing the expert at work, we were then very kindly given our own Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, plus two cleansing cloths, to try at home.

How To Use

Smooth the cleanser over dry skin, not forgetting the neck and eyes. Dampen one of the cloths with hot water, and use to remove make up and excess product. To finish, splash some cool water over your face.

How It Works

Enriched with cocoa butter, this product deeply moisturises the skin. The cleanser also contains rosemary, chamomile and eucalyptus to tone, soothe + purify the skin. The cotton cloth helps to gently exfoliate the skin as well, lifting away any dead skin.

Who Should Use It

One of the fab things about this product - and many of the products you'll find at Liz Earle - is that literally anyone can use it. This product is targeted at all skin types, and the gentle formula is even great for sensitive skin. 

My Thoughts...

I absolutely love this product! I can't believe I've waited this long to try it. I had the opportunity to try the Rose + Lavender formula, which has a beautiful relaxing and spa-like scent - the perfect cleanser for before bedtime! I do sometimes struggle with my skin, with areas of both dryness and breakouts, but this really worked a treat. My skin felt softer, smoother and clearer after one use... I think I've found a new favourite!
