The other week I took a trip down to Meadowhall Shopping Centre to cover their Spring Student Night with a lovely group of bloggers + journalists. The event had lots going on, with stalls across the mall, offering the chance to win prizes, free products and samples.
After all meeting at the Management Suite, we were taken over to House of Fraser to watch a live Nars demonstration. The NARS MUA took us through how to do a full face of make up using their best-selling products. We were then able to take home with us a lip tint, an eyeshadow stick, a deluxe sample of one of their foundations and their velvet matte skin tint.
We were then given some time to shop and enjoy the student discount, with most shops offering 20% off. This was an absolutely treat, as it's been a couple of years' since I was a student.
We all met back up again at the lovely Tapas Revolution found on the upper level Oasis Food Court. If I'm completely honest, having glanced over the menu before, I thought the extent of the vegetarian options would be patatas bravas. How wrong could I have been?! Funnily enough two thirds of our table were vegetarian, and they catered for us fantastically! Along with the expected patatas bravas (which was delish), we also had Spanish omelette, feta salad, and this AMAZING deep fried aubergine dish.
We also had lots of lovely sangria (which I couldn't have much of because I'd made the stupid decision to drive - boo!) and finished off with churros. I will 100% be returning to Tapas Revolution.
It was then time to go home, but before we went we were gifted a fantastic goodie bag, with treats from Aveda, and a beautiful make up bag from Cath Kidston and some make up samples.
The next event lined up for Meadowhall is their Ladies Night, on 5th July 2018 from 5pm. If you missed out on Students Night, then make sure you make an appearance for Ladies Night to get your hands on plenty of discounts + treats!
