Recently my skin has been playing up massively, so I've had to ditch the make-up wipes completely, and find an easy-to-use but kinder-on-the-skin replacement. A friend recommended this Clarins' duo to me, a brand I hadn't really used previously except when raiding my mum's dressing table. However, going on her beautiful skin and a brand that's been around since the 1950's, I thought I'd have to give it a try...
How To Use
Massage the cleansing milk into the skin and across the eyes, using cotton wool to remove any excess product and make up. Then pour the toner onto cotton wool and sweep across the skin, avoiding the eye areas.
How It Works
The cleanser gently removes make up from both the skin + eyes, and is infused with plant extracts, including Gentian, Hawthorn + Sage, that promise to re-balance oily skin. The toner contains Iris + Sage extracts, that clarify + rebalance the skin, ensuring all remaining cleanser is removed.
Who Should Use It
This duo is targetted to more oily-prone skin, however unlike other products for oily skin, I found both products to be very gentle. There is another duo of products for skin on the dryer end of the spectrum, which you can find here.
My Thoughts...
I really love this Cleanser + Toner! I've completely ditched my face wipes, because using these two products is just as fast + easy. My skins feels completely clear after use, without feeling dried out or tight. I picked up these products from Debenhams' in a gift set, complete with two full-sized products, a mini eye make up remover which I'm yet to try, and a cosmetics bag. The cleanser + toner are £21 each, but the set is £24 all together so it's a complete bargain! You can pick up the set here.
I definitely noticed a difference with my skin after just one week of use, it felt much clearer + softer. I will definitely be repurchasing when I run out!
