A Canterbury Tale: The Vegan Friendly KITCH Cafe

My work travels took me to Canterbury this week, and it wasn't just the historic monuments and cute cobbled walk ways that impressed me during my visit. Found down St Peter's Street is Em's Healthy Kitch, a cafe with a mission to help the people of Canterbury eat healthier. Offering a wide selection of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, even those with specific dietary requirements can eat happy here...

On my first visit to Kitch, I ordered the Seasonal Veggie Fritters, which was served with poached eggs and avocado, on top of a bed of kale and complete a spicy salsa.  Vegan diners can rest assured that Kitch also offer this dish without eggs. These fritters were absolutely amazing - filling and full of flavour. My colleague had the Vegan Brunch which looked pretty yummy.

The following day I was tempted to go for the fritters again (they were just so good), but thought I'd check out if their other dishes were just as good. I chose the Seasonal Veggie Soup and was not disappointed. Served complete with a beaut salad and slices of big doorstop wholemeal bread, this soup was the perfect antidote to a chilly Autumn afternoon.

You can then wash it all down with a choice from a huge selection of hot drinks, juices, smoothies + more! I went for a froffy chai tea latte - my Autumn drink of choice.

If you're after something sweet, there's a selection of vegan + gluten free treats for you try. The bliss balls looked amazing!

If the food wasn't enough to tempt you, the staff at Kitch are exceptional. The guys there go out of their way to make you feel right at home in their cosy cafe.

I loved my visits to Kitch this week! This cute cafe offers meals that leave you feeling satisfied but not sluggish. It is the perfect option for any vegetarian, vegan or gluten intolerant diners finding themselves in the beautiful Canterbury. If you're in the area, you should definitely check them out for some tasty treats!

  2. Espresso in Paris is distinctive to somewhere else on the planet. Moment espresso is an extraordinariness here, and free tops off are unfathomable (just like the case in Europe for the most part). hotel in clinton mo
