A Guide To Naturally Soft Skin

With Winter fast approaching, I've put together a few of my favourite products for keeping skin beautiful + soft all year round. These five gorgeous products are also all paraben-free - yay to naturally softer skin!

Parabens & preservatives in cosmetics has been a hot topic recently. By writing this post, I am in no way suggesting that you should only buy paraben-free products. But if you've done your own research, and have decided you'd prefer to switch to self-preserving cosmetics, then here are five bodycare products to get you started!

Japanese Camellia Cream (The Body Shop, £23)
If you follow my Instagram, you may have already heard me raving about this gorgeous lotion. From their Spa of The World range, The Body Shop have somehow managed to forumlate a moisturising + softening cream, that doesn't leave you feeling sticky. This moisturiser has a really velvety texture, and the fragrance is akin to what you'd find in an actual spa!

Loofah Mitt (The Body Shop, £6)
This mitt is fantastic at scrubbing away rough or dead skin. I use it mainly on my legs before shaving, to get a closer, smoother shave. This loofah works particularly well when used with a softening shower gel - I'd recommend Lush's It's Raining Men!

Honey Bath Melt (Our Tiny Bees, £4.95)
This gorgeous bath melt looks and smells like a bar of creamy, white chocolate! You can just snap off a couple of squares, and pop them into a hot bath. The cocoa butter, shea butter, honey + coconut oil then does all the work for you, moisturising you from head to toe.

King of Skin (Lush, £5.95)
A lovely bar of cocoa butter, avocado + bananas, perfect for moisturising when time is tight. You can use it in the shower or bath - just slide it over your skin, for smoother + more conditioned skin. I use this body butter after shaving, to make my legs feel silky!

Rub Rub Rub (Lush, £8.95)
A fantastic sea salt scrub, designed to buff away any dead skin. With added lemon juice, this exfoliator helps to brighten your skin - giving you glowing skin, even in the Winter months. Once you start to wash away the scrub, you're left with seriously silky soft skin!

Have you tried any of these products before? Which one sounds perfect for you?

    1. They're so good! So I buy it from an independent shop in Sheffield called Bird's Yard. But I think if you live outside of Sheffield, it's only online. A reason to come and visit the hilly city?! xo
