The Treat Kitchen is more than just your average confectionery store. With over 300 different types of sweets, chocolate & fudge available, The Treat Kitchen has put a twist on the idea of a traditional sweet shop, offering quality confectionery, in attractive packaging. The guys over at The Treat Kitchen kindly gifted me a selection of their yummy treats, read on to see what I thought...
I was kindly sent bags of Radioactive Sours, Pear Drops, Coconut Mushrooms (non-vegetarian) + chocolate truffles. There are 45 gourmet truffles to choose from - I got to sample a white chocolate, Champagne + strawberry one, and a very boozy whiskey + milk chocolate truffle. Both were lovely - I'm definitely heading back to The Treat Kitchen for more!
Also in my goodie box were some boiled sweets - the Pear Drops were definitely my favourite; a very nostalgic treat! The sours were literally the most sour thing I have ever tried in my entire life. I tricked my boyfriend into eating one without warning him, and his face was an absolute picture!
I will definitely be paying The Treat Kitchen a visit the next time I fancy something sweet, or I need to get some cute prezzies. My best friend has just turned vegan, so I might have to check out their range of vegan sweets for her!
You can already find The Treat Kitchen in Nottingham, Leicester & Derby. However, from this Saturday, The Treat Kitchen will also have a store in Meadowhall, Sheffield! If you fancy checking out for yourself just how yummy these sweets are, you can pop over and join in on their launch celebrations this weekend.
What was your favourite childhood sweet?
