Body Shop Haul

It's been a while since I've had a good look at what The Body Shop has to offer. But after work one night, I stumbled into their store with no intention of buying anything, yet ended up leaving with a bag full of goodies - oops! I'm a sucker for an offer, and The Body Shop always has some sort of promotion going on. I managed to take advantage of three offers during this visit, meaning my bag full of £105.50 worth of products actually only set me back £45! Here's what I got...

Body Scrubs

Like most, I've always been a huge fan of Body Shop's body butters. However, when I saw there was a 3 for £20 across all body care I thought it was time to try something new. Enter these three body scrubs, which use only natural exfoliants so no nasty micro-beads will end up causing harm in the ocean. The mango scrub has a beautifully fresh fragrance, and smells like a mango sorbet. Next up was from the new Pinita Colada range which smells phenomenal, exactly like the cocktail! This scrub cotains shredded coconut so out of the three, this exfoliator is definitely the most gentle. However, my favourite out of the three has to be the coconut body scrub, which was the first thing to go in my basket. The smell is so gorgeous, it just reminds me of summer time and holidays. So much so, I'll be taking this - along with the matching shower gel + body butter - with me to Rhodes next week!

Face Mask

Throughout the winter months, I'm always looking for skin care products which will drench my skin with moisture. However, the humidity this past week has turned my nose into an absolute oil slick, so a face mask was on the cards. I asked the sales assistant if there was any masks that could help mattify my skin and this is what she suggested! I do usually use Lush's fresh face masks, but they need to be kept in a fridge, and I needed a mask that I could take with me on all my hotel visits for work. This mask contains ionic clay and seaweed, and claims to draw out impurities and control excess oil. I've used this mask three times so far, and whilst it does feel quite uncomfortable when it's on, as soon as I take it off, my skin feels so smooth + baby soft. It also helps to bring down any blemishes on my skin. If you're struggling with oiliness, particularly on your t-zone, then I'd definitely give it a go!

The Body Shop is well known for its vitamin E range, and I have used the day cream + cleanser in the past. But new to me is the hydrating face mist, which was recommended to me by a friend. This spray is a cross between a moisturising toner and a make-up setting spray. It is great at creating a dewy look when spritzed over make-up! It is also lovely on freshly cleansed skin before bed - I'd really recommend this product.

Being on my feet all day, along with lots of travelling all around the UK, means that my feet take a bit of a pounding throughout the week. The Body Shop's peppermint foot care range is the perfect antidote to aching feet. Peppermint is really stimulating + fresh, which is great at relieving any aches and pains, as well as keeping your feet tingly and clean. The foot spray and cooling lotion are beautiful at refreshing and softening your feet throughout the day; while the reviving pumice scrub and intensive foot lotion are more suited for a pamper evening.

Have you tried any of these products before? What is your favourite Body Shop find?
