This Christmas I had a very special present left under my tree: a beautiful Mulberry bag. The bag in question was a Tessie Satchel in 'Oxblood' (£595) and it is now - by far - my favourite accessory.
Mulberry's Tessie family is a relative new range, with the aim of being a more affordable collection. The family of bags comprises of the satchel (£595), the hobo (£695) + the tote (£595). There is also a keyring (£70) + bracelet (£125). Each item comes in Oak, Black + Oxblood, all universally loved colours.
The Tessie Satchel has a vintage look, and is described as having a "refined yet retro elegance". The strap is adjustable, giving the bag versatility, and making it perfect for both day + evening use.
Inside the satchel is a cream lining, with an Oxblood leather trim. There is also a zip compartment with a gold Mulberry tag + a pouch to store your phone.
The Tessie Satchel is a high quality bag with long-lasting appeal, having both substance + style. The versatility of this bag makes it perfect for all occasions + the colour options available mean that it looks great with most looks. If you're thinking about investing in a Mulberry bag, but are unwilling to part with the £895-£1200 needed for a Bayswater, then I would definitely recommend a bag from the Tessie family.
