February Favourites

Deciding what my favourite purchases over the last four weeks was pretty hard to choose; there have been some fab contenders. I've narrowed it down to my top 7 beauty, fashion + homeware finds over the past month.

MAC Lipstick 'Faux' - £15.50

The best thing about my new favourite lipstick is that it was completely free! In case you didn't know, MAC offers a recycling scheme - 'Back to MAC' - whereby you can trade in 6 empty MAC containers for a lipstick of your choice.
Faux is a muted pinky mauve colour, with a Satin finish. This lipstick goes on beautifully, lasts all day + the colour is great for any occasion. I pair this lipstick with a NARS 'Rosebud' lip pencil, after prepping my lips with the Reve de Miel lip balm by NUXE.

LUSH Humpty Dumpty Bath Bomb - £6.95

This heavy weight of a bath bomb is part of LUSH's Easter collection, and is brand new this year. The sweet caramel fragrance lasts on your skin all day, and if you crack him open, there is a mini fried egg bath bomb inside to use for another bath time! Humpty Dumpty is very cute, a little silly, and would make a perfect alternative to a conventional chocolate egg this Easter. For an indulgent bath, combine this bath bomb with any of the 'Honey I Washed...' range, as they all share the same toffee scent.

MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation - £22

This product has a lot of fame in the beauty blogging world, and with good reason. MAC's Studio Fix Foundation is by far my number one beauty product at the moment. It has amazing coverage without appearing too cakey; there's a diverse range of colours, so finding a shade light enough for my fair skin wasn't an issue; and the durability is amazing.
I tend to use this product alongside MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation, which is perfect at setting the foundation + for an extra bit of coverage if needed. The only downside to this product is that it's difficult to get out of the glass container, so if you end up loving this foundation as much as I do, it might be worth investing in a pump for ease of use.

Next Rose Gold Hoop Earrings - £6

Get your Regina George on + make these hoop earrings "your thing". This two pack of rose gold hoops are perfect for day to day use, and look damn pretty. Elegant + simple, these hoops are my current fave accessory!

Sensationail Gel Nail Polish 'Mauve Maven' - £12.50

This beautiful, limited edition colour is perfect for spring + is an identical colour to my MAC 'Faux' lipstick! I've had my Sensationail Gel Nail Kit since Christmas, and I love it! The colour tends to last 1-2 weeks without chipping or peeling, which is great for someone who always has their hands in water.
Sensationail have also recently released a polish-to-gel transformer, which means that you can make any nail polishes turn to gel! Boots are currently doing an offer which means that the starter kit, including the LED lamp, the transformer + everything else you need to get started, is only £34.99.

Illamasqua Precision Brow Gel 'Strike' - £18.50

This was recommended to me by a couple of girls at work, and I have to say it is a complete game changer. Whilst hesitant at first, always preferring powders to waxes or gels, I've found that this brow gel doesn't go on too heavy, and is completely adaptable. I use the Real Techniques Brow Brush to apply the gel, and the EcoTools lash + brow groomer to brush out any harsh lines + blend. Illamasqua has recently brought out more shades, so there are four colours to choose from.

T.K. Maxx Copper Lantern - £7.99

I wrote about this being my fave purchase on my T.K. Maxx Haul post, so it's no suprise that it has wound up in my February favourites. I've bought quite a selection of copper homeware items this month, and this lantern ties them all together beautifully!
